Sheldon Theatre
26 Sep 2016
Built in 1904 with funds gifted by grain baron T.B. Sheldon, the Sheldon Theatre is a vital link between the historic identity and the proud rich, modern commitment to live layers of history, and performance. The Sheldon Theatre is a community treasure. Among one of the oldest operating theatres in Minnesota, the first municipally owned in the U.S., the Sheldon Theatre is celebrated with gilded interior, rich detailed elements, and decorative paintings.
In the 1970s, the City of Red Wing restored the theatre and opened as a showcase for the best local, regional and national arts and entertainment location. For more information about the Sheldon Theatre, click here: http://www.sheldontheatre.org/
