Stroll into the holidays, forget the rush!
28 Aug 2017
The holidays come too soon each year. Whether you are worried about getting the right gifts in time, making your fruitcake or cleaning the house for out-of-town guests, it can be a mad rush to get it all done.
The Red Wing Holiday Stroll is a gentle way to start the holiday dash. It starts Nov. 25 in downtown Red Wing. Live music, fire dancers, waddling penguins, horse-drawn wagon rides and genuine reindeer sleigh rides are all on tap. And of course Santa Claus!
The season officially kicks off with the lighting ceremony, followed by the lighted parade and fireworks. A live Nativity scene and a showing of Miracle on 34th Street are guaranteed to get you in the holiday spirit.
