A growing family business recently expanded into the Red Wing’s culinary community. Brothers Angel and Ramon Ruelas, along with their cousin Medardo Arcos, are the owners and operators of Fiesta Cancun. The authentic Mexican restaurant is the family’s fourth location in Minnesota.
“We started our first small restaurant in Brooklyn Park four years and have kept expanding each year,” Angel Ruelas said. The family team also has Fiesta Cancun restaurants in Eagan, Lino Lakes, and now, Red Wing. Originally from Mexico, the three men began honing their skills near Atlanta and Savannah, Georgia, where they worked in the food industry for 16 years before moving to Minnesota.
