Mazeppa Food Shelf continues to grow

Until a year ago, Mazeppa area residents in need of food had to drive to Zumbrota to use the food shelf there.

Mazeppa Food Shelf Director Sharon Musty said the concept for a Mazeppa food shelf came about when six friends sat around a table and discussed it after one of the women brought up the idea. “We thought there was a need,” she said.
