MN Zoo nears construction of $15.1M plaza overhaul

The Minnesota Zoological Garden in Apple Valley is moving quickly to reap the rewards of its $16.8 million state bonding haul.
The funding, part of the 2023 Legislature’s $2.6 billion package for public works projects throughout Minnesota, will go toward renovation of the zoo’s aging Lakeside Plaza and other projects.
