We’re thrilled to share highlights from our incredible 2024 Fall Forum held in the vibrant city of Detroit, Michigan. Thanks to our gracious host sponsor, Michigan Economic Development Corporation, and the support of our Guild Partners and sponsors, this year’s event was a resounding success. The forum brought together 222 attendees from 29 domestic and international guild members, creating a diverse and dynamic atmosphere for learning and networking.
Our packed agenda featured 10 educational breakout sessions covering increasingly relevant topics like migration and placemaking, AI in site selection, marketing best practices, and the value of site readiness. We were also treated to three inspiring Guild Talks: Rajeev Thakur discussed housing as a force of economic development, Mark Williams shared insights on what site selection clients really want, and Courtney Dunbar explored proactive versus reactive economic development approaches.
