Klobuchar visits Red Wing Grain

On Tuesday, May 27, United States Senator Amy Klobuchar visited Red Wing Grain, LLC to tour the company’s grain elevator and loading facility.
The visit was the second stop in Klobuchar’s most recent tour through rural Minnesota counties. She said she makes it a point to visit all 87 of Minnesota’s counties at least once each year and visits rural areas frequently to make sure she understands the needs of Minnesota farmers.
Klobuchar was joined by several Red Wing city officials, including Mayor Gary Iocco, Port Authority manager Shari Chorney and recently appointed city administrator Chris Heineman. Jim Larson, manager of Red Wing Grain, and Rick Anderson, chief risk and compliance officer for Red Wing Grain’s partner Ag Partners, also attended the event.
