Business Spotlight: Business owners encouraged to “Grow Boldly” with Ignite accelerator

Since opening in 2014, Ignite has worked to help entrepreneurs and business owners in Red Wing and surrounding communities turn ideas into sustainable businesses.
The nonprofit organization focuses on supporting startups and existing businesses through education, coaching, resources and connections designed to strengthen local economic development.
“Our mission is supporting entrepreneurs and business owners to start and grow their businesses through education, resources and connections,” said Valerie Lockhart, director of entrepreneurship.
Among Ignite’s signature offerings is the “Grow Boldly” accelerator, a 10-week program aimed at helping established business owners scale or pivot their companies. Recruitment for the next cohort is expected to begin this fall.
