The Red Wing Port Authority owns 46 acres of prime development land in two industrial development parks. All areas are complete with roads and infrastructure and are ready for immediate development.

River Bluffs Development Park [PDF] is located on the bluff overlooking downtown and the Mississippi River Valley. Thirty-nine acres of prime development land is suitable for office or light industrial development. Existing developments in River Bluffs include Mayo Clinic Health Services, Menards, Wal-Mart, Noesen Dental office, Under the Rainbow Daycare, and housing units. Shovel Ready sites are available in the Park.

In 2005, the Port Authority made significant improvements including site roads and utilities. Lots range in size from 1.2 to 17.06 acres and are ready for building immediately.

New Industrial Business Park - In February 2007, the Red Wing Port Authority completed the acquisition of over 20 acres of some of the most desirable light industrial property in the City of Red Wing. The property, former home of Central Research Labs, was purchased from Triad Properties. Central Research Labs has found a new, larger home in the City of Red Wing. The newly acquired property could be home to as many as seven new businesses in Red Wing.

The Red Wing Regional Airport is located four miles from the city. International air service is available 45 miles from Red Wing at Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport (MSP).

Equipped with three instrument approaches, including an ILS for all weather operations, experienced jet maintenance and ground handling are available on the field.
