Journey to Growth (J2G)

The Journey to Growth (J2G) initiative is a five-year economic development plan created to ensure the future economic viability of our region. Journey to Growth will diversify and grow our eigh-county regional economy beyond healthcare by focusing resources on other growth sectors, leveraging existing regional assets and developing the regional talent.

The region includes the following counties: Dodge, Fillmore, Freeborn, Goodhue, Houston, Mower, Olmsted, Steele, Wabasha, and Winona. The plan’s regional approach identifies strategic actions to enable our area to think, act, and compete like an economic development region.
