    How to handle roadwork rage

    June 5, 2017

If your shop is on a busy street, construction will affect tit at some point. It’s not easy on a small business, especially with the holiday shopping season around the corner.

According to experts at the University of Wisconsin School of Public Affairs, the answer is “Mitigation, not litigation.” Instead of fuming and threatening a lawsuit, smart owners work to reduce the effects of the traffic obstacles, which are short term. They know that in the long run improvements can actually improve accessibility and sales.

    More info here.

Business people are connecting with other affected organizations, and community and government leaders. They are trading information, working on promotional assistance for the companies along the route, and educating consumers. The aim is to reduce the impact of construction on business sales.
