Just 69 trombones—7 broke down

In the play The Music Man, musicians proudly boast “76 trombones led the big parade.” But what if 7 needed repair and there were only 69? The parade just wouldn’t be as effective.

Keeping instruments of all types in excellent repair is essential if musicians are to make music. The program offers either a diploma or a 2-year Associate degree. Students with a music background are drawn to this practical course of study, a necessity wherever musicians practice their trade. A full 96% of 2014 graduates found jobs in the field.
